Canal Cycle Ride Tour
5th-9th June 2000

For the sake of a few quid I cycled 250 miles touring the most scenic slag heaps and canal-side industrial estates that Birmingham and the West Midlands could offer.

It rained for 2 of the 5 days and was blistering hot for the rest of the time. By the end, my arse was so sore that I couldn't sit down for a week, and resembled a Amazonian tribesman on a bad day!
